The SLU Department of Public Safety has put in place an active shooter response program for the University community.
The A.L.I.C.E. (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) Program teaches tactical advantages if a situation occurs. DPS teaches the participants what to do if a violent intruder situation was to occur at SLU and in the event of an active shooter situation.
Sgt. Pat Signorino from DPS will be conducting this program for all law school students, faculty and staff on Wednesday, April 4 at 12:30 p.m. in the courtroom. The training session should last approximately one hour.
