Why did you want to go to law school?
In the second grade, the school I was attending attempted to kick me out simply for being in a wheelchair. Through the work of some compassionate attorneys, I was allowed to stay in school. This inspired in me a desire to help others.
What do you want to do after you graduate?
Hopefully public interest work.
What advice would you give first-year students?
Get to know your professors and upper-classman. Stick to the time recommendations on exam questions.
What makes a successful student?
One who can take good notes and stay current with the readings.
What’s your best experience at the School of Law?
Becoming president of OutLaws.
Who is your favorite professor?
It is a tie between Sue McGraugh and Brendan Roediger.

What’s most challenging about adjusting to law school?
The time commitment.

Faculty Fellow and Public Policy Intern at Paraquad, Inc.
Why did you choose SLU LAW?
I am a lifelong St. Louis resident, and I have wanted to attend SLU LAW since I was eight-years-old.
What is your favorite thing about SLU LAW?
The law school’s dedication to public interest.

The law librarians.
