Fall Exam Information

Honor Code Reminder
Students must complete an Honor Code Receipt before their first examination. Receipts are located in the Office of Student Services.

Exam Schedule

Exam numbers are no longer available in the examination rooms. Click here for instructions on how to access your School of Law Exam Number.

Exam Attire
Classroom temperatures will vary, and students are encouraged to wear layered clothing.

Exam Weather Contingencies
Information on School closings will be available on the University weather line,
977-SNOW. In the event of a closing or delayed opening, information will be posted
on the School of Law home page as soon as is practical, and students will be notified by
e-mail to their SLU accounts.

Exam Conduct
Respect your classmates when using the building for studying.

Exam Emergencies
Students who are unable to take an examination as scheduled must contact
Dean Underwood at 977-3326 or underwde@slu.edu before the scheduled time of the examination.

Grades
Grades for first year courses are due to the Registrar no later than noon on Monday,
Jan. 7. Grades for upper division courses are due by noon on Monday, Jan. 21.

Grades will be recorded in Banner as soon as they have been verified.

A list of classes for which grades have been recorded will be posted at Student Services starting on Wednesday, Jan. 9.

So as not to delay the recording of grades, students with questions are asked to contact Dean Underwood at 977-3326 or underwde@slu.edu. Contacting the Registrar's office will only hinder the ability to verify and record grades in a timely manner.

Students Missing Official Transcripts or Immunization Records
Students who are missing official undergraduate transcripts or immunization records cannot be registered for classes, cannot receive financial aid, are not listed on class rosters, and cannot receive e-mails from their professors for first assignments. Please clear these holds immediately, then contact the School of Law Registrar at mccaster@slu.edu.

January 2008 Graduates
Get the latest information on debt repayment and consolidation by scheduling an exit interview with Jackie Koerner at jkoerne3@slu.edu.

ALL STUDENTS

Students who would like financial aid for the 2007-2008 academic year and have not yet applied must contact their lender immediately to secure funding. Student statements and general financial aid information can be viewed online through the mySLU portal at myslu.slu.edu.

Spring loan disbursements begin Jan. 4.

Last day to withdraw from classes and receive 100% tuition refund is Jan. 25.

Last day to withdraw from classes and receive 90% tuition refund is Feb. 1; 80% tuition refund is Feb. 8; 70% tuition refund is Feb. 15.

Last day to process Spring loans is
March 1.

FIRST AND SECOND YEAR STUDENTS

2008-2009 FAFSA will be online Jan. 1 at
