Volunteers Needed for Naturalization Ceremony
The Public Interest Law Group, along with other student groups, is sponsoring a Constitution Day Naturalization Ceremony at Saint Louis University's Chaifetz Arena on Friday, Sept. 19. The Ceremony will be the largest in the city's history, with 1,300 St. Louisans becoming new citizens. Volunteers are needed all day to guide the candidates and their families to the Arena; more information about volunteering can be found here. All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend this historic and moving ceremony, which begins at
2 p.m. and is preceded by a short program featuring performances by undergraduate student choral groups that begins at 1:15 p.m. Meggie Biesenthal is the chairperson for this event; she can be reached at foxmc@slu.edu.

Stand Down for Veterans
The St. Louis Stand Down for Veterans event will be held on Saturday,

PILG Ambulance Chase
Join lawyers, students, alumni and friends of public interest to chase an ambulance through the SLU campus to benefit PILG's Summer Fellowship Fund! Registration includes a performance T-shirt, food, prize drawings and medals for top finishers.

"Light the Night" Walk for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
You can make a difference and have a great time doing so. Join the law school team on this 2-mile evening walk through Forest Park. To join the team, go to the Team Registration page, or if you prefer to collect with an envelope or want more information, contact Lauren Groebe, Abby Bonjean, Liz Glankler or Mike Mee, or e-mail LTN@law.slu.edu. If you are unable to make the walk and you would like to make a donation to the law school team, you can do it at the team's Web site. Law Practice Management Presentation
The Gilroy Law Firm is giving a free CLE (Missouri credit) called "Managing to Develop a Client Base" on Friday, Sept. 12, from 1 to 4 p.m. This is a Law Practice Management CLE geared towards new lawyers and law students. It will include information about marketing yourself as a new attorney, fee splitting and ethics rules, internet marketing, etc.

Trivia Night
Reserve your table for Law School Trivia Night on Friday, Sept. 26, at Busch Student Center! The cost is $15 per person, and there will be tables of 8. Price includes beer, wine, soda and appetizers. Weekly Mass
A weekly mass takes place on Wednesdays. All are welcome to attend this half-hour prayer opportunity. In addition, Campus Ministry sponsors a variety of communal prayer experiences throughout the academic year, including periodic interfaith prayer services.

Prayer Room
Don’t forget about the Prayer Room next to the Campus Ministry office. It is open and available as a quiet place of reflection (and refuge!) whenever the School of Law building is open.
