Career Services Professional Etiquette Seminars
Anne Hensley will be conducting seminars to help students master the social rules that are an important part of a successful job search. On Friday, Aug. 29, she will cover professional networking and guest etiquette at social functions. Pizza will be provided. Please R.S.V.P. by noon on Thursday, Aug. 28, to hensley@slu.edu.
The dining etiquette seminar will be held on Friday, Sept. 5. Students will have the opportunity to dine and review meal etiquette. The cost for the catered lunch is $13. Please R.S.V.P. with the $13 by noon on Tuesday, Sept. 2, to the Career Services office.

PILG Charity Raffle
The Public Interest Law Group will be holding a raffle in the Atrium starting Thursday, Aug. 28, to raise money for the law school's team walking for Light The Night for Leukemia and Lymphoma. The list of items is still growing; currently, there are Cardinals tickets and a large mix of restaraunt gift certificates. Members of the law school community are invited to join the team on the 2-mile walk through Forest Park on Friday, Sept. 12. Christian Legal Society Meeting
The first Christian Legal Society meeting of the semester will take place on Monday, Aug. 25.

SBA Meeting
This meeting will give information for 1L representative elections and will have a presentation on SBA's service partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters, among other important inaugural issues.

Weekly Mass
A weekly mass takes place on Wednesdays. All are welcome to attend this half-hour prayer opportunity. In addition, Campus Ministry sponsors a variety of communal prayer experiences throughout the academic year, including periodic interfaith prayer services.

Prayer Room
Don’t forget about the Prayer Room next to the Campus Ministry office. It is open and available as a quiet place of reflection (and refuge!) whenever the School of Law building is open.
