About the Vincent C. Immel Law Library

Welcome to the Vincent C. Immel Law Library at Saint Louis University School of Law. Immel Library is the primary research destination for the Law School, and serves the rest of the SLU community as well. The library is located on the 5th and 6th floors of Scott Hall at 100 North Tucker Boulevard in St. Louis, Missouri. In addition to the print materials at the Library, many of the resources and services are available online.

Mission Statement

The Saint Louis University’s Vincent C. Immel Law Library promotes research, scholarship, and educational endeavors primarily for the faculty, students, and staff of the law school in an atmosphere that respects and supports academic excellence, freedom of inquiry, and a multitude of curricular choices in accordance with the Jesuit tradition and the mission of Saint Louis University and the School of Law. The Law Library strives to support the legal research needs of the greater Saint Louis University community. This mission is accomplished by fully utilizing Library services, staff, space, and technology.
