Guidelines for the Submission of Manuscripts The Saint Louis University Public Law Review is a student-edited publication that publishes two issues per year, one based on a symposium held at the law school in the spring, and the other based on a special topic that changes each year. The Public Law Review accepts submissions of manuscripts, commentaries, and book reviews. We are currently accepting articles on the “Future of Immigration Law and the New Administration” for our spring 2010 issue. We are also accepting proposals for presentations at our April 2010 symposium on the National Voting Rights Act of 1965 To submit an article or proposal on either topic, please complete the following steps:
The editors will not acknowledge the submission of manuscripts unless at the request of the author. Decisions to accept or reject papers are based on the editors' judgment. The evaluation process generally takes four to six weeks. If you require expedited review of your submission because you have received an offer for publication in another journal, please contact us by phone or e-mail and be sure to include the date by which you need a response. For file purposes, the Public Law Review retains all papers submitted for consideration. Copies are not returned to the author unless the author makes that request in writing and supplies the Law Review with a return address envelope and adequate postage Thank you for your interest in the Public Law Review. |
