What area of health law most interests you and why? I am most interested in regulatory and transactional health care. As a result of my background in International Relations and French, I am also interested in global health policy.

What do you hope to achieve through the study and/or practice of health law? I hope to gain a broader understanding of health law in general, which will subsequently allow me to hone my expertise in smaller facets of the field. Ideally, I would like to publish articles and present on topics of interest in addition to the traditional practice of health law.

What has been your favorite health law class? My favorite health law class has been Professor Watson’s Access to Health Care Seminar. As part of the course, we participated in field visits to various medical sites, including an emergency department, a community outreach program and a low-income clinic.

What is your favorite thing about SLU’s health law program? The faculty and staff are my favorite parts of the health law program at SLU. Everyone has been very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I’ve developed relationships with some of the faculty and staff that will last long after graduation.
