  1. Accommodations

Reasonable academic accommodations may be made in the following areas.

    1. Academic Programs:  These are accommodations necessary to enable a student to enroll in, qualify for, attend, and participate in all programs of the School. In no case shall an Academic Program’s accommodation alter the essential nature of the School’s programs.

    2. Examinations:  These are accommodations necessary to enable a student to demonstrate competency on the course examination designed by the course instructor. Examples include additional time or use of a computer or scribe. Accommodations which alter the form or essential nature of the examination shall be rarely made and shall be made only in consultation with and the agreement of the course instructor.

    3. Auxiliary Aids:  These are materials or assistance necessary to enable a student to participate fully in the School’s academic program. Examples include assistive technology, note-takers, readers or scribes and library assistance. The School will utilize existing resources such as individual volunteers, state and local agencies and charitable organizations and shall have the cooperation of the student involved.

    4. Physical Accommodations:  These are accommodations necessary to provide students full physical access to all programs of the School.
