XI. REGISTRATION

  1. Adding/Dropping Courses

Students may add a seminar through the start of the second meeting of the class.  Students will not be permitted to drop a seminar after this time except in the case of extraordinary circumstances and then only with the permission of the professor and the Interim Associate Dean of Students.  Students may add non-seminar courses through the first week of classes, i.e., if the semester begins on a Wednesday, classes may be added through the following Tuesday.  In both of these instances, the addition of a course is dependent upon space availability.  After these time limits, courses may be added only with the permission of the faculty member and the Interim Associate Dean of Students.

Students may drop a course at any time prior to the beginning of the semester.  Students who wish to drop a course after the semester commences should refer to the information listed in Chapter 9, Section H, regarding Withdrawal from Courses.
