V. ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

  1. Dual Degree Programs of Study

Students admitted to a dual degree program generally start in the School of Law full-time program for the first full academic year. On an individual basis, students who begin their legal studies in the part-time or accelerated program may be admitted to a dual degree program. Beginning in the fall of the student’s second year, she/he will enroll in courses in one or both of their degree programs, depending upon the specific curriculum set for each dual degree program. Because of course sequencing and scheduling in two programs, students enrolled in dual degree programs often have less flexibility in course selection and should be prepared to take courses scheduled in the evening. For more information on dual degree programs, see Chapter 8.
