V. ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
- Part-Time Program of Study
Students admitted to the part-time program of study generally complete their law degree in four to six years, and generally take between 8 and 11 credit hours each fall and spring semester and 6 credit hours during the summer semesters.
Classes in the part-time program of study are scheduled Monday through Thursday between the hours of 6:00pm and 10:00pm, with an occasional elective scheduled to start at 5:00pm or on Saturdays.

Thereafter, students may enroll in electives in addition to their required courses, subject to seat availability. Enrollment in courses scheduled during the day in the full-time program of study will be subject to seat availability and other procedures attendant to the registration system such as limited enrollment and clinical program registration procedures.
Upper division required courses, elective courses tested on the Missouri and Illinois bar exams, and other elective courses are offered in the evening in the part-time program of study in alternating years. Every attempt is made to schedule these classes in the evening according to the schedule set out below. Students planning to graduate in four years should be especially careful choosing courses during their third year because this schedule of classes will next be available in the evening after they have graduated.
