III. LAW SCHOOL PREMISES
- Food/Beverages
The Sidebar Café, located in the Vincent C. Immel Atrium, serves beverages and a limited food menu during the fall and spring semesters. In addition, food and beverage machines and several microwave ovens are located in the lower level student lounge. Students are encouraged to eat in the lower level student lounge or in the Vincent C. Immel Atrium in order to minimize wear and damage to furniture and carpeting throughout the building. Eating is not permitted in the Courtroom. Eating and drinking in the classrooms are left to the discretion of the individual faculty members. Occasionally, food and beverages will be served at special events in other areas of the law school. Every effort should be made to dispose of food wrappers and beverage containers in appropriate receptacles. Recycling of plastic bottles and aluminum cans is encouraged and recycling bins are located throughout the School of Law.
Eating is prohibited in the law library and the sitting area outside the Office of Student Services unless prior approval is obtained from Dianne Morris. Drinking is permitted in the library if the beverage is in a non-disposable container such as a ceramic coffee mug.
Food courts, operated by the University’s catering company, are located in Fusz Hall across from the Campus Ministry Main Office and in Cook Hall across from the Vincent C. Immel Atrium and in the Busch Student Center.
