Financial Requirements for Graduation All financial obligations to the University must be satisfied before a student can receive his/her diploma and/or final transcript. Verifications to state bars will be provided; however, a transcript hold is placed on accounts with outstanding balances. All emergency loans (excluding Fishman) are due one week prior to graduation. Transcript and registration holds will be placed on accounts with outstanding loans. Student Loan Exit Counseling Graduating students who have educational loans with Saint Louis University School of Law are encouraged to attend an exit interview session. The purpose of the exit interview is to review student loan obligations. The meeting will cover numerous topics on the repayment provisions of student loan(s) and will require the review of several documents. The School of Law’s Financial Aid Coordinator, Jackie Koerner, will schedule individual exit interviews starting Monday, March 31, 2008. Graduating students are encouraged to e-mail jkoerne3@slu.edu to schedule an appointment. Exit counseling is optional, but highly recommended. All emergency loans must be paid off one week prior to graduation.
