Saint Louis Brief

Credit Cards

Students entering law school, or any other field, will quickly recognize that living on a student budget is easier said than done.  Credit cards can be great tools, but they can also put students in sticky situations.  The debt put on a credit card accrues interest each month.  Interest rates on most credit cards are close to 25%.

Tips for Credit Card Use

  • Pay on time
  • Charge sparingly
  • Read the fine print
  • Pay in full each month
