Assistant Professor of Legal Writing
Associate Director of Bar Preparation Programs

Professor Twinette L. Johnson joined SLU LAW in 2003 and currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Legal Writing, as well as the Associate Director of Bar Preparation Programs.

After graduating from Saint Louis University with a B.A. in English Literature, Johnson pursued her J.D. at Tulane University School of Law. Professor Johnson went on to clerk for the Honorable Duane Benton of the Supreme Court of Missouri. Later, Johnson joined a corporate law firm in New York, where she conducted legal research and composed memoranda, contracts and other pertinent documents for a variety of corporations and financial institutions.

In addition to her teaching duties, Johnson has been a faculty moderator for the 100 Years of Women at Saint Louis University School of Law speaker series, and a coach for the Hispanic Law Student Association Moot Court Team.
