This year, the William C. Wefel Center for Employment Law is honoring Gary L. Rutledge ('83) with the John E. Dunsford Achievement Award.
Gary Rutledge is a professor of practice at SLU LAW and former vice president and general counsel for Anheuser-Busch InBev, North American Zone. He has been selected by the past two graduating classes as Adjunct Professor of the Year.
The award recognizes his exceptional achievement and service in the field of employment and labor law.
Following the presentation of the award will be a panel discussion on the globalization of labor relations. Panelists will be Valerio De Stefano, professor at KU Leuven, and Johnny Wang, partner at Stinson Leonard Street.
On Friday, March 2, the Wefel Center is additionally sponsoring, together with the Law Journal, its annual day-long symposium, this year titled "Law, Technology, and the Organization of Work." 5.9 MO CLE credits are available through the symposium.
