Legal Research & Writing Faculty

The legal writing faculty is comprised of attorneys, all of whom have practiced or are practicing law. The faculty share a commitment to helping students learn the critical legal research and writing skills required to equip them with the tools they will need to practice law. The LRW faculty have law degrees from seven American universities, including one from Harvard and one from Yale. Two LRW faculty members have Ph.D.s. Four faculty members have judicial clerkship experience, one with the Missouri Court of Appeals, one with the Missouri Supreme Court, one with the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, and one with the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. In addition, one faculty member was counsel to the Chairman of the National Labor Relations Board.
