Degrees and Requirements Saint Louis University School of Law offers a strong, rigorous program designed to prepare students for all aspects of law practice. From the moment students arrive, they are considered members of the legal community and are challenged to meet the expectations that membership entails. Our educational framework focuses on the personal development of each student and prepares future attorneys for optimal professional success. Beginning with our Fall 2001 entering class, this attention to the student will be evident in our small sections program. First-year, full-time students will be exposed to over half of their foundational courses in a small classroom setting of less than 35 students. The small class experience stimulates interaction between students and faculty as well as among students. This interaction will enable faculty to provide more personalized forms of feedback. Students can select from the more than 150 hours of challenging, interesting and enriching courses offered to complete the minimum of 88 hours to graduate – 51 of which are elective courses. 1st Year |
