Financial Assistance

Applicants for financial assistance are considered within several weeks of admission to the LL.M. Program. In addition to partial tuition remission grants administered by the School of Law, students are encouraged to find other financial resources to enable them to participate in the LL.M. Program. The School of Law maintains a list of potential external sources of aid, including aid available to international students. Additionally, students should explore loan and assistance programs in their home countries.

Tuition Remission Grants:

The School of Law awards partial tuition remission grants to incoming LL.M. students based on outstanding academic credentials, exceptional career achievements and need. Students can apply for partial tuition remission grants by completing the application for tuition remission grants and providing a comprehensive financial statement during the application process. The form is included with the LL.M. application.

International Scholarships:

Many national and international organizations offer assistance to students. The following link will take you to external scholarship opportunities. The School of Law does not control these funds. Although the listing is regularly updated, some information may have changed. Funding agencies can quickly change their requirements, deadlines and other information. For that reason, all questions should be directed to the contact shown in the listing. The criteria for each program are listed under the program heading. Deadlines change so contact the lending institution for correct submission dates. To apply to a program, contact the organization as early as possible to obtain applications, additional criteria and information on program changes.
