International Legal Research

All Saint Louis University law students have the opportunity to engage in a variety of projects. Seminar, directed research projects and skill training experiences can involve legal research and writing in all facets of international legal research. This research includes everything from locating and updating treaties and other international agreements, to analyzing the legislation and reports of the various international organizations. Peggy McDermott, Assistant Professor of Legal Research and a member of the Center's faculty, has developed a series of presentations intended to introduce researchers to the many paper and electronic research tools that will aid in the conducting of international legal research.
