Interviewing - The On/Off Campus Screening Interview Most employers will interview you more than once before making a hiring decision, with the exception of interviews for part-time positions in the metropolitan area, where you will often have only one interview before a hiring decision is made. These screening interviews typically last between 20-30 minutes, and are usually held with one person. This is a very short amount of time to make an impression, so remember to make sure to lead with your strengths - whether they be prior work experience, knowledge of the field of practice, work ethic, academic performance or others. As stated elsewhere, make sure that you know about the organization and the positions for which you are interviewing. 1. Be prepared! |
