Partners in Excellence Program
|
The Partners in Excellence Program brings together generous donors and exceptional students. It allows donors an opportunity to contribute to the development of future lawyers and play a role in the advancement of American legal education. The Program also provides an extra level of community support to law students, the most significant components of a truly great academic institution.

How the Program Works
The donor commits to a four-year, $10,000 pledge to the School of Law Annual Fund. The commitment qualifies the donor as a sponsor in the Partners in Excellence Program. In recognition of the commitment, the sponsor may name an academic achievement award for a law school course. The awards are presented each spring to the top grade-earning students in each qualifying course at the School’s Excellence Awards Ceremony. Naming rights exist for the duration of the four-year pledge and may be renewed upon pledge fulfillment. For a list of available law school courses, contact the Development Office at 314-977-3395.
Who Can Be a Partner
Individuals, law firms and corporations are invited to participate as sponsors in the Partners in Excellence Program.
Recognition
Sponsors of the Partners in Excellence Program are introduced and recognized at the annual Excellence Awards Ceremony. The name of the sponsor’s award is printed on the certificate handed to students at the ceremony and in the ceremony program booklet.
With annual payments of $2,500 each year, Partners in Excellence sponsors are recognized as annual members of the DuBourg Society at the DuBourg Associate level. (Membership in the DuBourg Society applies only to individual donors, and not to firms or corporations.)
