What do you do in your current role?

What is something that SLU LAW does right in order to prepare students for success on the job market?
The Office of Career Services at SLU LAW was integral in helping me find my big law job.
What was your most valuable experience at SLU LAW and how has this experience helped you in your career path?
The two classes that from a practical perspective best prepared me for my career path are moot court and my last international law class. Both classes forced me to improve my public speaking skills and helped me think on my feet and speak persuasively.
What advice would you give to students beginning their legal career at SLU LAW?
The market is competitive. Work hard in law school. Good grades go a long way in getting jobs. Additionally, take as many practical classes as possible so that when you start to practice, you do not start again at the bottom of the learning curve.
