Finding a place: After law school, I worked at a sports agency, SMG, which became SFX Sports Group. I recently partnered with long-time sports agent Tom Condon after we merged our practices with Creative Artists Agency.*

Why Saint Louis University School of Law? It's a great school; competitive, yet socially friendly atmosphere and professors are very hands-on with the students.

Your Best Experience at the School: Meeting some of the closest friends that I currently have. We worked hard in class but had fun along the way and those memories will last a lifetime.

What (or Who) at the School Had the Most Profound Effect on You? Taking classes in Civil Practice, Negotiations, and Sports Law helped confirmed my belief that I wanted to practiced Sports Law and be an Agent.

Who Was Your Favorite Professor? I had a few. Professor Salsich was a great professor. The late Herb Eastman was a kind and incredibly helpful professor. These professors (among others) had a terrific way of interacting with students. They truly cared about teaching and it showed in their willingness to help us.

Favorite Class? Negotiations with Professor Needham. She was a great professor and her teaching style was effective because she created real life negotiation scenarios that we acted out. Who would have guessed that class has actually helped me quite a bit in my job?

What did you learn about law that you didn't anticipate? Without question, every facet of life involves the law. I can't think of a single situation that may not have some type of legal implication and in my opinion, just by attending law school has helped make me a better businessman.

Extracurricular Interests/Hobbies: I like playing poker, watching mixed martial arts, and watching suspense movies (when I can).

Current board memberships/volunteer activities/committees: Sports Lawyers Association, Member, MO Bar, NFLPA Registered Sports Agent

Final Thoughts? I am thankful for my law school experience and it has helped me in my career in Sports. I believe Saint Louis University School of Law has a great foundation for helping individuals achieve a career in Sports Law.

*Street & Smith's Business Journal named Dogra one of the 10 most influential Sports Agents in the nation. Dogra was named to the list for having represented more first-round draft picks (2004-2006 seasons) than any other NFL agent, which includes 2006's number one pick, Mario Williams. During the 2007 draft, Dogra represented several first round draft picks including the first running back selected-Adrian Petersen.
