Services

Administrative

Evening students have the same needs as day students. The very reason they attend classes in the evening is the same reason they must meet with advisers, do research or address financial questions at night. The School of Law provides the same high level of service in the evening hours, when students are here, as the day program. A senior administrator, the Assistant Dean of the Evening Program, is on site every evening courses are being taught. The Financial Aid Coordinator takes evening office appointments and the Registrar's office is open in the evening two evenings each week. Click here for more information.

The Career Services staff understands that evening students are balancing multiple demands on their time and career planning need not be another one. They are experienced at helping older students assimilate a wealth of work experience with a law degree to improve career opportunities. They provide Career Planning for the Evening Student, an informational guide for participating in career planning, from resume building to reviewing offers. The staff remains flexible to help students when they need it. Students can schedule evening appointments with a staff member and communicate by e-mail, fax or phone.

Library and Information Technology

Evening students have available to them comprehensive Information Technology services. For research, the Law Library, with a comprehensive research inventory is open from 7:30 a.m. to 12 a.m., Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. Our technology staff is available most evenings for questions or help with e-mail, Internet access or e-services. Students can use the School's 500 Internet ports for access to the World Wide Web or to contact student organizations, Academic Advising Services or Upcoming Events. Our Information Technology Services help students access all the information they need any time of day - or night.
