Application Checklist

An applicant’s file is complete when the School has received:

• A completed Saint Louis University School of Law application (online only)
• A complete LSAT/LSDAS report from Law Services
• Two letters of recommendation submitted through LSDAS
• $55 application fee
• Personal statement
• Resumé

There is no set order in which application documents should be submitted. However, the application must be received by the Office of Admissions before an applicant’s LSAT/LSDAS report can be requested. Files are not reviewed until all required application materials have been submitted.

When Should I Submit My Application?

Application Timeline

  • The application process begins September 1.
  • The Admissions Committee begins reviewing completed applications in mid-November.
  • The first round of admissions decisions is made by December 1.
  • Applicants wanting consideration for merit-based scholarships should complete an application prior to March 1.
  • Applicants who wish to be considered for the 1843 Scholarship must complete an application prior to February 12, 2009.
  • All applications received after September 1 are considered for the following fall term.
