The Livingston County State's Attorney's Office is located in the Livingston County Courthouse in Pontiac, IL. Pontiac is 100 miles south of Chicago on I-55 and 35 miles north of Bloomington-Normal. The office employs 4 attorneys.

Qualifications:

The position involves the prosecution of the misdemeanor, juvenile and traffic cases. There will be involvement with the felony divisions, as well as handling some civil matters on behalf of the State's Attorney's Office. This position has the immediate opportunity to prepare and prosecute in both bench triels and jury trials.

Salary:

starts at $50,000 with benefits including health, life and dental insurance
